Seven months ...

Claire turned seven months old on Sunday. Although I do deeply miss the "newborn" magic, Claire at 7-months is just too much fun!

She continues to laugh and talk constantly. This morning, I was doing the dishes and overheard her laughing and babbling to her baby doll. We love how she now looks us in the eye and talks to us. I'm sure whatever she is saying is brilliant! :) We just talk right back to her.

We got for a lot of walks, thankfully the warmer weather is back. She loves being outside with people and animals and I'm loving the exercise. (It's good to start to feel like myself again!)

Baths are still a favorite pass time but have greatly increased in messiness! She splashes like crazy and I end up soaked most of the time as well. It's too fun. Bath time is almost becoming a daily routine and Claire is determined to feed herself during meals ...

She loves her Daddy and has a really adorable "shyness" around him. It's neat to see her associate differently with genders. She will never love another man as much until God brings her husband. We are both so in love with Ethan.

Play dates are getting to be a blast! It's hilarious watching the babies interact with each other - Claire gets REALLY excited around other babies and children. She can barely control herself which sometimes results in her arms flailing uncontrollably and a friend getting whacked in the face.
