It's that time of year again for everyone - so I know we all understand being uber busy.
Life is perfect. Honestly. Every day we wake up to blessings. Joy.
Claire is growing like crazy. She gave Ethan a whole new giggle tonight while he was playing with her. She's found an amazing routine, taking two naps a day and sleeping 7 - 8 hours. I love being with her every day (except Tuesday). It's crazy - but we're perfecting chaos on all sorts of levels right now.
We took her trick-or-treating this weekend. Really, we just dressed her as a monkey and pushed her around the neighborhood and watched the other kids run around. It was fun.
Ethan agreed to let me hire someone to come help us scrub the house every couple of weeks and it's such a huge help. We can keep the place picked up - there is just no way we are going to spend the weekends scrubbing.
I love my wonderful husband. Last Monday night I came home to homemade fajitas, a clean kitchen, flowers, chocolates, my favorite song playing, dishes done and laundry going. He's my hero. My heart.
Ethan's job is going great, he gave a big presentation last week and was given another raise at the end of October. God is taking great care of us. My job has slowed down a bit thankfully. I will be spending November playing a bit of catch up from the summer, only for things to get crazy gearing up for the ski trip in December. We are so excited about getting to ski again and taking Claire to Colorado for her first time. Ethan and I both spent summers in Colorado so we are pretty sentimental about it.
I was so blessed last night to join up with a young Mom's group meeting every other week. It was such an amazing, Godly and transparent group of women. Such a huge blessing in my life right now.
