An update for those of you who've been asking how Ethan's interview went ...
I'm so proud of him ... so many people interviewed for this position. Although I know how incredibly intelligent and talented Ethan is, we were a little discouraged by the masses of people wanting this job.
God never ceases to amaze me and his blessings constantly bring tears to my eyes. As I said before, his managers were pulling a lot of strings for him as they knew he was the right guy for the promotion. Ethan said that he really felt the six months he spent working for AT&T played a huge roll in landing him the promotion. It's amazing to look back now and understand a little of what God has been doing with Ethan over the last year. I'm so thankful for a husband who is not afraid to walk in faith and to move or stay put when God beckons.
The promotion also came with a GREAT raise ... the timing couldn't be better as our monthly expenses are about to increase in July.
I'm not sure if I blogged about what my job will look like when Baby ****** arrives ... but after talking with my favorite boss about a month ago, we talked through some pretty amazing arrangements that will allow me to continue working with out having to put her in childcare. This is really huge to Ethan and I who feel passionately about avoiding daycare or nannies for our children. I couldn't have asked for a greater blessing in my life than a Mom who was the primary caregiver and we are so thankful to be able offer Baby ****** the same blessing.
