Looks like ...

We were surprised and really excited this morning to find out we are having a sweet little girl!

Our appointment was at 7:30 this morning and I asked Ethan if he'd rather the doctor tell us the sex or have them write it down for us. He said he wanted them to write it down for us and then we could look at it over breakfast. So during the appointment we saw some really amazing things! (We tried to videotape but they wouldn't let us). The doctors checked out just about everything on our little girl ... brain, heart, blood flow, spine, upper lip (no cleft pallet) hands, feet, etc. Everything looked healthy and great which meant the world to us!

We couldn't get a good shot of her face as she kept turning away from us. When we could see her face she had her little hands in front of her face and we could see her mouth sucking away on the back of her hand - this was Ethan's favorite part. My favorite image was her little feet. We have a couple of good pictures of her feet that are precious.

So, we went out for an amazing breakfast and I videotaped the unveiling ... I'll have to post the video later today. Throughout breakfast our minds were racing as we thought about names, what she is going to be like, how quickly she will grow up, etc. It was nothing short of a whirlwind of thoughts and ideas.

As Ethan and I both headed off to work after breakfast, he kissed me and said "I love my girls."

What a perfect morning ...
20 weeks today!
