Bats

So we decided to take the dogs for a walk and we've ended up at the Congress bridge in downtown Austin waiting for the bats. It's turning into quite the experience. Our dog Burleigh's decided that this is a perfect time to decide to try being aggressive. He's growling and barking at other dogs and just generally being a little brat. Maybe it's the chirping of the bats that's driving nuts, bit I doubt it. I think he's just a poorly behaved little brat.

Kristen pointed out that there always seems to be a crowd. Tonight is no different. A woman brought her little girl to see the dogs and said they needed to get back for "the show." it also seems the bats have decided to stay in for the night. I can't help but wonder how people can watch these types of natural events, these shows, and not see the hand of God. Does God still reveal himself through nature? Does God reveal himself through our nature?

Due to the present lack of bats, a group of people standing on the bridge have taken to cheering for kids playing. They've given the kids cute little alias' based on their shirt color. Yellow seems to be giving blue a good run.

Well I think I'm going to stop as there are ominus clouds above and random flashes (hopefully from cameras).
