Another week gone

This week has flown by. I've been so blessed to have been allowed to do a lot of work from home this week. I can't imagine going through this anywhere else. We are so thankful for our friends and support we have received from friends and family all over the world. 

Just this week Ethan and I both were talking about how thankful we are that none of our other friends currently pregnant have gone through this and we have been praying we would be the only ones. Sadly, we found out that some of our dear friends from Joplin lost their little baby this week as well. My heart hurts so much for them but we received great encouragement from them. We've been amazed this past week  at how God is already using this sad situation to minister to others. How great is God that he can turn something so sad into something so beautiful?

Yesterday, we were blessed with two three day passes to the Austin City Limits Music Festival. We are headed out there this afternoon to catch some bands. I'm really excited about Conner Oberst, Iron and Wine, Beck and Robert Plant/Allison Krauss tomorrow night. I ran to switch our tickets for the wrist bands yesterday after work and things were already crazy. They are expecting 65,000 people for ACL and then a heap load more for the UT home game against the Razorbacks tomorrow. Crazy weekend in Austin. I heard on the radio that every UT home game brings in 25 million to Austin ... madness. We've got to get to some games when things are a little less chaotic for us ...
