During, I had these two women sitting next to me all weekwho were nothing short of the cliche middle-aged-divorced-smoker type. They both found Dreamweaver pretty complicated (that was the only time I was thankful we weren't on Macs - I can only imagine how much that would have confused them). When one of the women got stuck and confused during class, she would call the teacher a "jack ass" under her breath. The other one would just let us know what kind of alcoholic drink she was going to need to recover from the frustrations of Dreamweaver. It was pretty ridiculous.
I organized a Girls Night at The Moonshine Grill on Tuesday night. It was a blast! We had about 9 girls come out and it was so good to get to hang out and chat. I think we are going to try and do this once a month. After I left I drove to pick Ethan up from work. When I arrived I realized I had left my phone at the restaurant ... so naturally I drove all the way back downtown to get my phone. When I got out of the car I realized that the new dress I was wearing (it's super cute) had pockets, one of which contained my phone. Not a good drive for someone who's trying really hard to spend as little money on gas as possible!

Ethan's had a migraine for a couple of days this week. So this morning I took Darby (our 6 month old Min Pin) to work with me. I put up a baby gate and she just hung out with me for the morning so Ethan could get some sleep without being disturbed by a playful puppy. She spent the morning on my desk looking out the window at the beautiful scenic hills of West Austin.

Today after work I went to the grocery store to cash in our coins. (Ethan found out that I emptied his change bank and said "Now I'll NEVER get a motorcycle! Why are you actively working against me?" It was really funny) Anyway, H-E-B is undergoing serious remolding and has shoppers entering the store through a skinny walkway that only one person at a time can fit through. I was on the phone and carrying a Ziploc bag full of change when suddenly, the overheated change broke
through the bag and spilled EVERYWHERE. I just happened to be in that skinny walkway blocking traffic trying to pick up $10 worth of pennies and nickles. It was awful.

The latch on our dishwasher broke this week so the apartment maintenance came by to take a look at it. They left a note saying it would be 3 - 4 days before the part arrive. As someone who HATES to wash dishes by hand ... I desperately started trying to find a way to get all of the dirty dishes sitting in the broken dishwasher clean without me having to hand wash them. The picture to the right is what I came up with and I'm happy to report our dishes are currently being washed as I type! :)
