Our friend, Lauren, from college came to visit for a few days and we had to be creative in our Austin adventures due to lack of sun and lots of rain. (Of course, the day after she left it was sunny at 80 - irony). Some of our fun: She arrived on Thursday afternoon so we met Ethan for lunch at Thundercloud (a GREAT Austin sandwich place) then had ice cream at Amy's (another great Austin find.) We ran a couple of errands for wakeboard camp and she met a bunch of the church staff. That night we had friends over stayed up too late. Friday, us gals headed up to Guadalupe (UT campus) for some Pita Pit and shopping. That night we had a Leader hang out (middle and high school leaders at church). Saturday we headed downtown to see the sites and had an AMAZING late lunch at Hula Hut. Sunday was church and then fish tacos downtown with friends. That night we met friends and Sno Beach (can't leave Austin w/o trying a snow cone) and then went to Shady Grove with the Frey family. Monday we went out on the boat with David and then Lauren flew back to Nashville. It's nice to have old friends come to visit and have past and present collide. She loved Austin and thought it lived up to the hype!

Scarlett came over to play last week! Claire loved following her around but in her excitement pulled Scarlett's hair pretty hard. Scarlett wasn't much of a Claire fan after that! :)
