Life and such ...

The days have flown this week. Claire is moving around like crazy. She can take about two "crawling steps" but she doesn't realize that a couple more of those and she can get anywhere she wants. She can, however, pivot, roll or do the backwards crawl all over the living room. I was working today and one minute she was on one side of the room and then I looked up to find her on the other side of the room chewing on my flip flop. Gross! (Building that metabolism I guess) She has babbled all day long - much of which sounded like words. Crazy.

Ethan's job and life are going well. Staying busy at work and hanging with us girls each morning. Even though it makes me sad, I'm thankful when he says it's always so hard to leave us in the mornings. Thankful for a wonderful husband who cherishes his family time. He's trying hard to work in some music time with some of his musician buddies. He is also meeting with this awesome college guy who we love every Thursday morning. He's won an award at work of some kind - I'm not sure of the details but it comes with a prize (Apple product). Looking forward to hearing the details! In my opinion ... any Ethan award is long overdue. He's pretty amazing. :)

For his birthday, Ethan ordered some pretty cool new pickups for his Gretsch. They came in the mail yesterday and he's pretty stoked to get them installed. One of our friends who works at the church has the soldering equipment so that will be a fun!

I've had much to do in the graphic design world lately for work and some projects for friends. It's fun - but keeping me busy as I chase around a wiggly little girl.

Claire's baby dedication is this Sunday! We are excited and blessed to be doing this with several of our friends who just had babies as well. Claire has a cute new dress for the occasion so I hope the weather is nice!

Found some recent photos on my phone I thought I'd share. I hate camera phone pics but here they are. :)

Valentine's day!

Our youth team has had three photo sessions with the Staff photographer in the last year. Our team keeps changing but these sessions are so fun. I love the people I work with and miss seeing them every day. Love this new chapter, but am thankful for the two years I had being with this crew. Thought I would share a couple of those pics as well. Lindy is a great photographer - I'm dying for some lessons with her!
