Six months!!

Claire turned 6-months last Thursday! Unbelievable. She had her 6-month appointment and is doing so well! She is still 90th percentile for height (they are pretty sure she's going to be tall) and 75% for weight now. She was showing off her sitting skills for the doctor and hamming it up with her laughing and squealing. Everyone loves that she'll always respond with a smile.

She has a tooth cutting this week. It's exciting but I'm also very sad to see that toothless grin leave us. The pediatrician thinks she'll be an early crawler ... we'll see!

We celebrated her half birthday with some new homemade baby foods. A "she" might have picked out some new clothes at the store to celebrate. :)

She still loves bath time and has been in the "big" tub for a couple of months now. Looking forward to things warming up so we can head to the pool! I've been looking into the Infant survival swim lessons in Austin.

This is the first week of my new schedule - so far I'm loving it. I'm very sad to see such an amazing chapter in my life close ... but this new one is pretty awesome. :)

It's been great to be at home playing with Claire, getting exercise and doing a lot of stuff around the house. So much freedom to just be "mommy."
