Rock Star Baby ...

Ethan started his new work schedule this week and he's been bummed about it. He works 1 - 10 pm Monday - Friday for the next couple of months and it's not at all the ideal schedule for a healthy family life. :) However, it's a great time to get a late schedule over with so we are making the best of it. This new schedule means he'll have Claire in the mornings and then drop her off at my work in the afternoons. (Except the days I'm working from home)

So I bought him some little baby gifts for his special time with Claire. So I found a boutique in Austin that sells the Rock Star Baby line. It's the stuff designed by Tico Tores of Bon Jovi and it's really cool stuff. I bought him one of the bottles (it was hard to pick one, they are all so cute!) I also got some little pink Robeez that have guitars on them. And at the same boutique I found some tiny Frangipaini hair clips for Claire! I couldn't believe this find.

Everything is going really well! I'm enjoying my last week at home before starting back to work! I've been bargain hunting for some of Claire's favorite baby gadgets (a glider, gym mat, bumbo, boppy ...) to leave up at work so I won't have to tote things back and forth all the time.

Claire is growing so much and gets cute every day! She's been pretty clingy with me the last few weeks so it will be good for her to have some Daddy only time in the coming weeks.

She loves the Baby Bjorn. She's become much more aware of her surroundings and sometimes just needs to be held. The Baby Bjorn is super helpful during the times I need to get some stuff done. This is how she rides in it: Always looking up at me and resting her head on one of her hands. She's a riot.
