Changing ...

At 17 days old we can't even begin to describe how much our baby girl has changed.

She has gained well over a pound since her birth weight and is a cute little chunker.

She has the sweetest little voice.

When they first gave her to me after she was born,

she was whimpering with her tiny sweet voice.

She's always had a strong neck and has been able to pull her head up since day three.

However, last night she broke her record! We were in awe!

She loves to lay on your chest and then use her arms and neck muscles to pull her head up so she can see you. Last night she kept doing it to me and holding it for several seconds.

She looks like a little turtle when she does is.

So cute!

Ethan swore she rolled over onto her side on her own a couple of nights ago but I didn't really believe him.

Until ... yesterday I put her on her play mat on her back and she immediately rolled to her left side and then about 30 seconds later rolled to her right side.

It was unbelievable.

Of course ... when I went to get the video camera I tried to get her to do it again to no avail.

And, of course, we think everything she does is amazing! :)

Her hair is getting lighter as well. Blonde or Brunette?? We will soon find out! :)

Claire and I met Ethan for lunch this afternoon at Jimmy Johns.

It was fun and we love our lunch dates. We haven't had one since just before Claire was born.

Then Claire and I did some shopping for the next round of baby showers coming up.
