Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for. The last year has been amazing. So we needed a pretty amazing Thanksgiving to go along with it since we didn't get to make a big trip to see family this week. On Wednesday night Ethan took me out on a date and had decided that he wanted us to drive to the coast on Thanksgiving day for a fun day together.

So Thursday morning we got up and had breakfast at Jim's restaurant. (This hole in the wall home style cooking sort of place). Then ... we took off for Corpus Christi! The road trip was much needed time together. We brought the pups along since we weren't sure how long we'd be gone.
Corpus was cool to see, it seemed a little run down or the parts we saw but it was great to see the Ocean and play on the beach. I had been far to long. It was warmer than we had expected but the gulf breeze cooled us off quite a bit.
We had a wonderful day together. Due to lack of options being open, we had Thanksgiving dinner at the Cracker Barrel. :)

On Tuesday, we had a big Thanksgiving feast with about 35 friends our age at Brooke and Jonathan's house. The spread and set up were beautifully and we had a wonderful time eating great food and hanging out with friends. I also got my hair cut and colored by Laura before hand so I was feeling great!  My pictures from dinner didn't turn out the best because of the dim lighting.

Happy Thanksgiving! Next time you come down, you should head on over to Port Aransas and Mustang Island...much prettier there. =)

Hope the pregnancy is going well!
